Our Favorite Apple Picking Spots

in the North Shore

Crisp air, crunchy leaves, comfy sweaters, and APPLE PICKING!  Check out our favorite places to partake in fun fall activities:

1. Connors Farm

This place includes everything a child could imagine!  From a 7 acre corn maze, to ziplines, to a railroad train and giant slide, this farm goes above and beyond the simple apple picking fun.  While the kids get their energy out, you can chow down on their numerous hot food options (hint: try the BBQ!)

2. Russell Orchards, Ipswich

You may have been here in previous seasons to pick other fruits, like strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries, but in the fall they offer apple picking (of course), as well as the classic cider donuts and other fall baked goods.  This farm is also a winery, so they offer wine tastings in their cute and cozy barn, and often host events to showcase their fall and wine specialty items.

3. Cider Hill Farm, Amesbury

Cider Hill has all the classic fall amenities, but also offers hard cider!  Kids can feed goats and chickens, and they also host birthday parties and weekend events.

4. Brooksby Farm, Peabody

What we love about this farm is that it not only has apple picking, but also a corn maze, farm animals, a pumpkin patch, and a bakery!  It offers many types of apples to choose from for picking, located in a separate lot from the store and farm animals.  The bakery has fresh cider donuts, as well as a variety of take home pies, breads, desserts, and other goods, and they make their own cider!  It's free to be there, and prices for cider, donuts, etc. are all very reasonable.
