Lyndsey Wakeham
Real Estate Agent

Lyndsey’s real estate career started in 2005 when she began working for The Collaborative Companies (TCC), a Boston based real estate marketing firm.  For TCC, Lyndsey worked as an on-site sales agent for large scale new construction projects in Boston.  After TCC, Lyndsey acquired her broker’s license and led the Marketing and Sales for Cresset Development’s residential projects. As a small, Boston-based developer handling large scale projects, Cresset provided her with a steep learning curve as she was involved in all aspects of development. Lyndsey’s exposure to acquisitions, financial modeling, fundraising efforts, permitting, zoning, market underwriting as well as the direct management of equity partners, investors and attorneys provided a solid foundation in all things real estate. Her largest project for Cresset was a 60-unit old shoe warehouse conversion into exposed brick and beam lofts in Boston’s South End.  Lyndsey loves both the investor/developer side of deals as well as the personal side of finding the perfect home for a buyer.

Lyndsey was raised in Boxford, MA, surrounded by large families on both sides. Her strong roots on the North Shore drew her back to the area after spending 4 years at Bowdoin College in Maine and then 5 years in Cambridge and Boston. She and her husband purchased their historic home in downtown Salem in 2007, quickly falling in love with Salem’s vibrancy, diversity, waterfront access and everything else this small city has to offer.  Lyndsey can be seen around Salem with her two children, often at the latest exhibit at the world class Peabody Essex museum, dining at one of Salem’s amazing restaurants or with a gaggle of kids looking for seals in Salem Harbor on her boat.

As a northshore native, Lyndsey’s intimate knowledge of this beautiful part of the world makes her an asset to both her buyers and sellers. Due to a job transfer for her husband, Lyndsey and her family spent 4 years living in Dublin, Ireland, which provides her with valuable insight and empathy for her relocating clients. She can guide relocating clients through all the logistical challenges associated with moving to a foreign place and celebrate with them all the excitement and milestones simultaneously.
